$7,500 Grant for QLD Business Owners

Queensland businesses: Have you heard about the Business Basics Grant? It’s a fantastic opportunity to receive up to $7,500 in funding for strategic planning, cash flow forecasting, and more!

This is Round 6 of the Business Basics program, focused on business enhancement. Successful applicants can use the grant to boost core skills and adopt best practices.

Eligible activities include:

  • Business plans
  • Financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Business structure advice
  • Operational efficiency reviews
  • Business mentoring and guidance
  • Strategic partnerships and networking

Grant Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, businesses must meet these criteria at the time of application:

  • Fewer than 5 employees
  • Operating with an active ABN
  • Queensland-based headquarters
  • At least 1 year of trading history
  • Annual turnover of less than $300,000 (2023/24)
  • Not previously approved for funding under the Business Basics grant
  • Not insolvent or led by bankrupt owners/directors

Key Dates:

  • Stage 1: Registration of Interest opens at 9am, Monday 30 September 2024
  • Closing Date: 5pm, Friday 11 October 2024
